S-000047) as innovative technology for use under Jal Jeevan Mission/ Swachh Bharat Mission dated 30/03/2022Swacch Bharat Mission (Grameen) phase2 guidelines regarding preparing detail estimate for Solid Liquid Waste Management.
Under WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION DEPARTMENT, TIGER BIOFILTER TECHNOLOGY has been recognised by government of Maharashtra under SBM-2 for faecal sludge & septage management.The vermifiltration-based Tiger Technology is widely recognised as an efficient sewage management technology. The use of Vermifilters/earthworms for treatment of sewage is referred to in the Manual on Sewerage and Sewage Treatment (Second Edition) by CPHEEO and MINISTRY OF URBAN DEVELOPMENT 1993.
The Tiger Technology was approved by the 9th Meeting of Dr. R.A. Mashelkar Committee held on 23rd Jan 2018. The Mashelkar committee is a part of the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Government of India. The Tiger Biofilter is under process for approval for the 13th Meeting of Dr. R.A. Mashelkar Committee (2018).
